Melanie Borrego is the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education in the School of Arts and Sciences at Brandman University. A division of Chapman University and a private, not for profit institution, Brandman University provides online and blended classes to approximately 10,000 adult learners at 26 campuses across California and Washington. In this role, Dr. Borrego is responsible for supporting faculty and students, including assessment of student learning, online campus scheduling, the recruitment, development, and mentoring of adjunct faculty, and General Education program development. She is the Coordinator for the Associate of Arts Degree and the BA in Applied Studies Degree programs as well as the Prior Learning Assessment and Experiential Learning programs and a member of Brandman’s Program Council for Competency Based Education.
